Types of Events

The BIC hosts monthly virtual seminars featuring experts on brain imaging topics. Most seminars take place via Zoom but we occasionally host in-person events. In-person events will be broadcast on Zoom. All seminars are recorded and available to BIC members.

Workshops are ongoing and open to the public. Workshops are intended to offer background knowledge and dive deeper into seminar topics. Participants are encouraged to engage in discussions with presenters during workshops.

The BIC occasionally hosts working group meetings where affiliate faculty can discuss a particular topic in-depth. Our most recent working group covered 'Imaging of Neurofluid Transport & The Glymphatic System.' 1-2 guest speakers present before opening the discussion to participants.

The BIC hosts data blitz which brings together faculty and students so they can share their lab's research. These events are a great way to network with other labs and learn about collaboration opportunities at the University.
